About
The Aurora is a compact short-wave infrared (SWIR) line-scan camera supplied as a complete kit with integrated foreoptics, requiring no additional optics or optical fibers. Each kit ships with a carry case and all components needed to operate the instrument right out of the box. It shares its InGaAs detector and electronics heritage with Thoth’s Argus 2000 spectrometer, providing the same compact envelope, 15 mm aperture with 0.15-degree field of view, Peltier-effect cooling, and standard serial interface with programmable integration time and co-adding settings. The Extended-Range configuration covers a wider spectral range up to 2200 nm and is thermal-vacuum and vibration tested for space use. Four qualification grades are offered: Lab Grade for laboratory use; Space Grade, with components specially selected and environmentally certified for use in space; UAV Grade, thermal and vibration tested and certified for UAV platforms; and Extended Range, delivered with test certification for space environments. Suitable for digital line-scan imaging and remote-sensing applications.
