About
Calian’s Ka/Q/V-Band Gateway Antenna is a 10-metre earth station designed for high-capacity satellite gateway applications at Ka, Q, and V frequency bands, enabling operators to exploit high-throughput satellite capacity on modern GEO and non-geostationary (NGSO) constellations. Both the main and sub reflectors are constructed from carbon fibre composite, delivering excellent surface accuracy and thermal stability required for millimeter-wave operation. The system is compatible with GEO, LEO, and MEO orbits. The pedestal provides ample space for RF equipment. Optional de-icing, environmentally controlled hub, and adjustable polarization are available. The M&C interface uses Ethernet for full remote operation and monitoring. Ka/Q/V gateways are increasingly critical for next-generation HTS and broadband satellite networks requiring frequency reuse and high spectral efficiency.
