The AX-80 Wideband Modem is an end-to-end wideband transmit and receive solution capable of up to 500 Msps. It offers full throughput with 256APSK, reaching up to 3 Gbps per direction, and provides full IP connectivity over DVB links in the Gigabit-per-second-class. Featuring 10G Ethernet interfaces, it allows for high-speed integration into terrestrial networks. The modem includes real-time monitoring and control, along with powerful IP processing capabilities to support the fastest link available over satellite. Key features include DVB-S2X compliance, modulations up to 256APSK, symbol rates up to 500 Msps, and data rates up to 3 Gbps per direction. It also offers integrated Roll-Off options (35%, 25%, 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%), exceptionally clean signal output, internal processing, and predistortion for automatic group delay and nonlinearity compensation. The AX-80 operates as a layer 3 bridge or layer 3 router, including traffic shaping and QoS functionality, and features an ACM controller open to various ACM systems, as well as integrated GSE and MPE encapsulation.
