About
Blue Canyon Technologies’ Nano Star Trackers (NST) are a low size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) attitude sensor solution featuring lost-in-space star identification and a user-friendly RS-422 or RS-485 interface. The trackers are built for demanding missions and are EMI/EMC tested to MIL-STD-461 and shock test qualified. The product line is offered in three configurations to trade off size against pointing accuracy: the Standard NST (0.35 kg, 10 x 5 x 5.5 cm, Cross-Boresight accuracy 6 arcsec / About-Boresight accuracy 40 arcsec), the Mid-Extension NST (0.45 kg, 17 x 8.5 x 7 cm, Cross-Boresight accuracy 1 arcsec / About-Boresight accuracy 10 arcsec), and the Full Extension NST (0.85 kg, 25 x 10 x 10 cm, Cross-Boresight accuracy 1 arcsec / About-Boresight accuracy 10 arcsec). Blue Canyon states industry-trusted proven heritage for the Nano Star Trackers line, with 960 units manufactured and 390 launched.
