The CB3P-6231 is a 3U OpenVPX™ PCIe® switch PMC/XMC carrier board (VITA 46.9) designed for use with Mercury’s ROCK-2 subsystem. This carrier board provides PCIe Gen1/Gen2/Gen3 lane switching capability between PMC or XMC connectors and the backplane. Engineered with BuiltSAFE™ technologies, the CB3P-6231 is available in both commercial air-cooled and rugged conduction-cooled configurations, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from lab environments to field deployments. Mercury’s proven 3U avionics modules, including this one, are designed to accelerate safety-critical applications such as AI machine vision and augmented reality. They also help expedite the certification process, conserve aircraft resources, and speed up subsystem time to market. Key features include one XMC site and one PMC site, a 32-lane PCIe switch, and a configurable PCIe upstream port. It boasts rugged construction and a 7W power consumption, with DO-254 and DO-178 artifacts available, along with safety certification services and support.
