Climats offers a range of environmental test chambers specifically adapted for thermal tests on batteries of all types, from small cells to large packs for electric vehicles, requiring specially-designed equipment to guarantee test safety and reliability. Available in volumes from a few cubic meters up to several cubic meters with modular or monobloc structures, these chambers cover a temperature range from -90C to +220C, enabling simulation of extreme conditions and thermal tests through prolonged cycling up to eventual cell destruction. Safety systems are tailored to customer requirements and EUCAR risk levels, including control-independent min/max temperature protection, electromagnetic door locking, nickel-plated evaporator protection, chemical-resistant cabinet lining, product runoff retention trays, air renewal systems, smoke/gas/flame detection, audible and visual alarms, gas-based extinction, Spirale Vision-controlled nitrogen flush inerting, O2 analysis, explosive gas detection, and controlled pressure relief valves or rupture discs. Controlled via the Spirale Vision system with 15-inch touchscreen and Production/Standard/Laboratory usage levels.
