About
The SCAL CTH2 is a climatic (temperature/humidity) test chamber from Climats, operated via the Spirale control interface, which lets operators manage all chamber equipment through an extra-large 15-inch touchscreen. Spirale offers three selectable levels of use: Production (simple and functional), Standard (a versatile general-purpose level), and Laboratory (focused on advanced testing). It includes a tracking alarm in Shock or VRT mode to ensure reproducibility of tests. On the Spirale Vision variant, programmable pre-treatment and post-treatment cycles allow samples to be temperature-conditioned or dried at the start and/or end of a test cycle, and an automatic defrost function optimizes the cycle so that defrosting is carried out correctly without disturbing the temperature of the samples under test. The system supports a Standard mode for easy program creation and a time-optimized ‘guaranteed step time’ (Wait for) mode that keeps a programmed step duration constant regardless of the number of samples on board. An Energy Saving mode limits operation to only the test cabinet containing the samples, cutting electricity consumption by at least 40% during test cycles.
