About
SCAL CTK is a climatic/thermal shock test cabinet controlled via the Spirale control system, which lets operators manage all equipment functions. The Spirale interface features an extra-large 15-inch touchscreen and offers three levels of use: Production (simple, clear and functional), Standard (a versatile level), and Laboratory (focused on advanced testing). It includes a tracking alarm in Shock or VRT mode to ensure reproducibility of tests. On the Spirale Vision variant, programmable pre-treatment/post-treatment allows temperature conditioning or drying of samples at the beginning and/or end of a test cycle, and an automatic defrost function optimizes the cycle so that defrosting is carried out correctly without disturbing the temperature of the samples under test. The system offers a Standard mode for easy program creation, and a Time-optimized or ‘guaranteed step time’ mode (Wait for mode) that guarantees a programmed step time regardless of the number of samples loaded. The Energy Saving mode, available on Spirale for test cabinets only, reduces electricity consumption by at least 40% during test cycles.
