About
SCAL-CTR is a vertical thermal shock chamber (Enceinte choc thermique vertical) equipped with the Spirale control system, designed to control all connected test equipment through an extra-large 15-inch touchscreen interface. The controller offers three usage levels: Production (simple, clear and functional), Standard (a versatile intermediate level), and Laboratory (focused on advanced testing). It includes a tracking alarm in CHoc (thermal shock) or VRT mode to ensure reproducibility of tests. On the Spirale Vision variant, programmable pre-treatment and post-treatment cycles allow temperature conditioning or drying of samples at the beginning and/or end of a test cycle, and an automatic defrost function optimizes the cycle so defrosting is carried out correctly without disturbing the temperature of the samples under test. The system supports Standard mode for easy program creation, a Time-optimized (‘guaranteed step time’ / Wait for) mode that guarantees a programmed step duration regardless of the number of samples loaded, and an Energy Saving mode in which only the test cabinet containing the samples operates, reducing energy consumption by between 40% and 70%.
