The Modular Chamber (CM) is an environmental test chamber offered by CLIMATS, designed for testing large specimens with volumes ranging from 8 to 100 m³. It can operate within a temperature range of -70°C to +80°C. The chamber utilizes a modular panel structure, allowing for working temperatures up to +80°C. These custom-built machines are specifically designed to optimize test volumes based on the geometry, nature, mass, and dissipation characteristics of the product being tested. The chambers are pre-assembled at the factory and then re-built on the customer’s site, offering flexibility in manufacturing to create one-piece chambers or chambers with remote machinery directly within facilities, without concerns about accessibility. The adaptability of its construction allows it to meet ‘space requirements’ without compromising existing layouts. The system is controlled by ‘Spirale’ software, which includes standard features such as easy program creation, time-optimized or ‘guaranteed step time’ mode (Wait for mode) to ensure programmed step times regardless of sample quantity, and an Energy Saving mode that can reduce electricity consumption by at least 40% during test cycles. A common application mentioned is the burn-in of electronic control cabinets.
