About
The Complex of Technical Means for Impact Area Operation is designed to determine the trace of any free-flying object (measuring velocity, direction, and angle) and provide raiding parties with radar information on launch vehicle detachable part (DP) drop locations to reduce time and cost of DP pickup at the impact area. It comprises a radio locator-based radar tracking system and a portable radar station for monitoring LV detachable parts and their fragments. Operating frequency 10 GHz, variable beam width from 10°×10° to 1.25°×2.5°, supports both approaching and opening targets, confirmed measuring distance exceeds 300 km. Equipment is protected against shock, dust, sand, moisture, rain, and salty air.
