About
The DS2000 is Mitsubishi Electric’s standard geostationary satellite bus platform — Japan’s first standardized satellite bus. It supports payloads across a wide power range up to 15 kW, with launch masses of 3 to 5 tonnes. The platform has been selected by numerous operators for communications, meteorological, and positioning satellites including the Himawari, Michibiki/QZSS, and Superbird series. Its modular architecture enables high-quality production at reduced cost and delivery time.
