About
The CCD47-10 is a 1024×1024 pixel back-illuminated CCD from Teledyne e2v with very low readout noise, designed for precision pointing applications including fine guidance sensors, star trackers, and adaptive optics wavefront sensors. It shares the same 13 µm pixel pitch as the CCD47-20 but is optimized for faster readout in sub-array windowed modes, enabling high-update-rate attitude sensing.
The back-illuminated architecture provides enhanced blue and UV quantum efficiency for star brightness detection across the visible and near-UV spectrum. The CCD47-10 has flight heritage on multiple ESA and NASA precision pointing missions. Teledyne e2v supplies the device with full radiation assurance testing, lot traceability, and space qualification documentation.
