The EPS-LP-1k5 is Dragonfly’s advanced 28V Electrical Power System, specifically designed for spacecraft power control and distribution. This system, now in its 8th generation, boasts a heritage design that ensures exceptional reliability and performance, making it an ideal solution for nano, micro, and mini satellites. It offers up to 1500 W total power and features a centralized configuration within the EPS Housing. Key functionalities include a Spacecraft Power Cycle Watchdog Timer Function (1 hr to 72 hrs), single fault tolerance, Battery Under Voltage Protection (Hibernation), and Battery Charge Current Limiting. The system also incorporates a Solar Regulator Module (SRM) with S3R (Sequential Switching Shunt Regulator) topology, providing 535 W total input power at 29.7 V. Distribution channels are protected with overcurrent, overload, and external trip input, along with watchdog timers and auto-retry redundancy. The EPS-LP-1k5 is ITAR-Free and has a TRL 9 rating.
