Description
The 28-300 Battery Module is a flight-proven 28V LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) high-power, modular spacecraft energy storage solution from Dragonfly Aerospace. It is designed with ITAR-free, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components and seamlessly integrates with their Electrical Power System (EPS) for optimal battery management. This battery provides a modular and scalable energy storage solution capable of delivering extremely high peak power for demanding applications. Based on Lithium Iron Phosphate technology, it offers a high cycle-life, enabling missions of between 5 to 8 years in LEO (e.g., SSO). The built-in Battery Management System (BMS) offers comprehensive monitoring, balancing, and protection of the battery cells during operation and can be utilised as part of the EPS-LP or integrated into a platform as a standalone solution.
