About
The GATE Jetpack S is a high-thrust chemical propulsion system specifically designed for satellites, capsules, and landing vehicles. It is a plug-and-play mobility solution for ESPA-class satellites, minimizing development effort, reducing integration time and cost, and accelerating the path to space. The system utilizes long-duration, storable propellants (C2H6 and N2O) and a flexible propulsion architecture to enable fast orbit transfers, mission reconfigurations, collision avoidance, in-orbit refueling, and safe deorbiting. It features 4 thrusters with a thrust range of 1-6 N, capable of continuous, pulsed, and cold gas operation with deep throttling up to 1:10. The Jetpack S is built on a modular and efficient architecture, engineered for scalability, making it suitable for single spacecraft or constellation deployments. It offers a total impulse of 36,000 Ns and a specific impulse of 270 s. The system has a dry mass of 36 kg and dimensions of 525 × 525 × 380 mm, with a maximum satellite mass of 100 kg and maximum satellite dimensions of 600 × 600 × 600 mm. It can provide a delta-V of 300 m/s and is compatible with 15-inch interfaces, including Rideshare ½ port and Starlink ½ port (or larger).
