Ground Segment Systems (gs4EO Suite)

Indra Space designs, develops, and operates ground segment infrastructure supporting the full lifecycle of satellite missions. The gs4EO product suite provides multi-mission, interoperable modules for autonomous satellite operations with minimal staffing requirements. The system includes ground stations with X-band downlink and S-band TT&C links, control and data processing centres, operational data processors (ODP), end-to-end simulators, payload data ground segments (PDGS), and flight operations segments (FOS).

The Puertollano Antenna Park in Spain hosts a 10.2-metre S/X-band antenna — the only commercial unit of this aperture on the Iberian Peninsula — supporting LEO and higher-orbit missions with coverage over Europe and North Africa. Four operational antennas provide continuous coverage with full redundancy, staffed 24/7.

Indra supports more than 30 Earth Observation missions globally including ESA Earth Explorers and Copernicus satellite programs, providing ground infrastructure ranging from single-station contracts to complete multi-site mission operations centers.
