Indra Sistemas
Galileo Ground Segment & Navishield GNSS Systems

End-to-end GNSS infrastructure including Galileo ground segment stations, secure PRS platforms, anti-jamming Navishield receivers, and the G3Star space-qualified GNSS receiver.

About

Indra Space is a primary contributor to Europe’s Galileo satellite navigation system, having designed and deployed the complete ground segment infrastructure: 15 Sensor Stations (GSS) collecting and validating Galileo signals worldwide, 20 Uplink Stations (ULS) transmitting navigation data to satellites, and 7 TT&C Stations enabling continuous monitoring and control of the constellation.

The POCP-S 2S (Secure Platform) connects EU Member States to Galileo’s PRS infrastructure with 80%+ automated operations. Navishield is Indra’s advanced GNSS protection solution with a next-generation CRPA (Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna) that safeguards Galileo PRS, Galileo OS, GPS, and other signals against jamming and spoofing. The G3Star is a space-qualified GNSS receiver for launchers and LEO satellites, utilizing Galileo’s High Accuracy Service in orbit. Indra is also developing a four-satellite LEO-PNT demonstration constellation under ESA’s NAVISP programme.
