The SM03 is a 3U CubeSat structure developed for small satellite applications. It features a robust design with helicoil inserts for enhanced structural integrity. The structure supports up to 8 deployment switches and offers configurable board stacks, allowing for both horizontal and vertical stack assembly. A key feature is the independence of the PCB stack assembly from the main structure, providing flexibility in integration. The SM03 is compatible with SPM Solar Panels as well as panels from multiple other vendors. It also boasts PC104 and PC104 PLUS compatibility, ensuring broad interoperability with standard CubeSat components. The structure includes assembly screws and a standard set of three 1U stack assemblies. Optional 1U intermediate rings are available for further customization. For safety and operational control, it supports up to 4 stand-off kill switches and up to 4 rail switches.
