About
Haven-1 is a state-of-the-art, human-centric space station designed to host two-week missions for up to four crew members. It features a 45 m³ habitable volume, personal crew quarters, and a 1.1 m domed window for expansive views of Earth and space. The station is equipped with a deployable communal table and Starlink internet, engineered by SpaceX, providing high-speed, low-latency connectivity. Haven-1 serves as an innovation lab for advanced science, research, development, and in-space manufacturing, accommodating both private and government astronaut missions. The station’s robust design includes micrometeoroid and orbital debris (MMOD) shielding, in-house manufactured components like the primary structure, hatch, and domed window, and advanced life support systems. SpaceX will launch Haven-1 on a Falcon 9 rocket and transport the crew using its Dragon spacecraft.
