About
This high-power GaN C-band SSPA offers 1.5 kW output power and is available for both outdoor and indoor installations. It features automatic control modes (AGC, ALC), a pressure window, and an output RF calibrated sample port. The power supply operates on 90-264 VAC, 50-60 Hz, with a power consumption of less than 5 kW at PSAT. Outdoor dimensions are 1370 x 1070 x 1000 mm, while the indoor version is a 19” Rack cabinet 44 U (H), 1 m (D). Interfaces include N (f) for RF input, CPR-137 Groveed for RF output, SMA for RF sample, and Ethernet or 19-pin MIL circular (outdoor) / 15-pin D-Sub (indoor) for M&C. It operates in an outdoor temperature range of -30 ºC to +55 ºC and indoor from 0 ºC to +50 ºC. Remote control is available via RS-485, Ethernet, Dry-Contacts, or web user interfaces, with monitoring of forward/reverse output power, input power, individual SSPAs output power, temperature, and summary alarms. Internal self-protection includes temperature (>85 ºC), reflected power, and high input-output power. The operating frequency range is 5.85 – 6.425 GHz, with a typical PSAT output power of 61.2 dBm and linear output power of 60.8 dBm. Gain is >70 dB, with gain flatness <3 dB p-p over full band and <1 dB p-p over any 40 MHz. Attenuation adjustment range is 20 dB in 0.25 dB steps. Input VSWR is ≤1.5:1 and output VSWR is ≤1.3:1.
