About

The High Pressure Electric Valve is a pneumatic automation equipment unit designed to open and close high-pressure gas paths in spacecraft propulsion systems. It operates at up to 250 kgf/cm² and uses a two-voltage scheme: 23–34 V to open and 4.5 ± 0.4 V to hold, consuming only 0.25 W during hold. Released in 2001 with a 19-year guaranteed service life and 15.5-year active lifetime, delivered within 5 months.
