The Oxford Space Systems deployable Hinged Rib antenna is designed for stowage efficiency and high performance, offering dual-band operation. It can operate across Ku-band to Ka-band frequencies, providing high gain while fitting within a compact 3U stowed volume. The Hinged Rib antenna is available with two reflector surface options: a metal mesh for Ka-Band applications or a composite membrane for higher frequency Q/V band use. This versatility makes it suitable for a range of applications including data relay, intersatellite links, satellite communications, and 5G integration. Key features include its stowage efficiency, low mass, tuneable and scalable design, and low complexity.
