About
The Honeywell HMC2003 is a high-sensitivity, factory-calibrated analog 3-axis magnetometer that uses Honeywell’s most sensitive magnetoresistive sensors—HMC1001 and HMC1002—to deliver reliable, precise magnetic field measurements. Its fully analog interface exposes critical nodes for maximum user flexibility, while the internal excitation current source and selected gain and offset resistors minimize temperature-related errors and drift. Three precision low-noise instrumentation amplifiers with 1kHz low-pass filters ensure accurate readings and effective noise rejection. Ideal applications include low-field magnetometry, precision compassing, navigation systems, UAVs, attitude reference, traffic and proximity detection, and medical devices.
