About
The Honeywell HMR2300 Smart Digital Magnetometer detects the strength and direction of an incident magnetic field using three orthogonally oriented magnetoresistive sensors to measure X, Y, and Z vector components. Outputs are converted to 16-bit digital values via an internal delta-sigma A/D converter. Data is transmitted via full-duplex RS-232 or half-duplex RS-485 at 9600 or 19200 baud. Applications include attitude reference, compassing and navigation, UAVs, autonomous vehicles, and anomaly detection.
