These assemblies are particularly suitable for applications like communications satellites that require stable pointing at fixed ground targets. They offer extreme flexibility in packaging options and provide precision performance supported by advanced drive technology, all within a greatly reduced package size. The HC7 and HC9 models are specifically tailored for New Space price points, offering flexible momentum and torque options. Key advantages include high-output, low-jitter performance for precise position and pointing control, plug-and-play attitude control system (ACS) insertion, minimized vehicle integration time, and application-scalable optimization. Integrated Honeywell technologies include a proven spin-bearing design, insensitivity to low or transitional operational speeds, optimized momentum density packaging, and a flexible vehicle digital interface. Gen 1 Qualification for the HC7 and HC9 was completed in June 2021.
