About
The Mag613 is an array comprising eight miniature three-axis fluxgate magnetometer sensors. It is specifically engineered for deployment within an oil-filled tank, capable of withstanding pressures equivalent to a 500m depth (50 bar). This makes the Mag613 an ideal tool for detailed analysis of the magnetic signatures of scaled ship and submarine models, as well as for simulating closed-loop degaussing processes. Each individual sensor is encased in a miniature enclosure and connected to the main electronics module via a 3m cable. The electronics module integrates a power supply, driving circuitry, and an analogue multiplexer. The compact size of the sensors facilitates mounting configurations that achieve high spatial resolution, and the design effectively suppresses crosstalk up to 3kHz.
