About
The IMT X-Band Transponder is a CubeSat-compliant deep space and Earth observation communication system using COTS components to minimize cost. Compliant with the ESTRACK ground network, it supports 2-way Doppler, ranging, and Delta-DOR. The system comprises three assemblies: Main (90x96x74 mm, 660g), LNA (94x94x8.6 mm, 115g), and HPA (94x94x44.4 mm, 420g), totaling less than 1.5U and 1,200g. Uplink in 7145-7235 MHz, downlink in 8400-8500 MHz (Category B sub-bands also available). TX output is 15W; downlink symbol rates up to 60 ksps (1 Msps optional). RX noise figure less than 2 dB. Power supply is 24-33.6V. Modulation is PCM/PSK/PM. TM/TC via redundant CAN bus; payload data via RS422. Operating temperature -20 to +50 deg C.
