The KI-103, also known as Gnome, is an End Cryptographic Unit (ECU) from Innoflight’s cyber security line.
Overview: Top Secret and Below (TSAB) certified bulk encryptor; re-programmable keys by the customer for ease of Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T); Over-the-Air Rekey (OTAR) support; ideal for a Telemetry, Tracking & Command (TT&C) link or a Mission Data Link (MDL); integrated with Innoflight’s SCRs (SCR-104, SCR-106, SCR-106HDR and SCR-108) for compact secure communications.
Key characteristics: data rate up to 40 Mbps.
Size, weight and power: CubeSat 83 x 84 x 15 mm, 165 g, 2.0 W maximum and 0.9 W in low-power mode. Technology and manufacturing readiness are TRL 9 / MRL 10, with flight heritage since 2019.
