NX Series Maritime VSAT

The NX Series is Intellian’s flagship maritime VSAT platform, representing the new standard for satellite communications at sea. Available in four sizes — v85NX, v100NX, v130NX, and v150NX — each antenna is Ku-Ka dual-band convertible with 2.5GHz Ka-wideband readiness for future MEO and LEO constellation access.

The all-in-one 1U control unit integrates a bright OLED display, embedded dual-antenna mediator with automatic switchover, embedded spectrum analyzer, and the AptusNX remote management software — eliminating the need for separate rack equipment. A single coax cable connects above-deck to below-deck. Common platform architecture across all four models reduces spare parts inventory by 40% compared to previous-generation systems, significantly lowering total cost of ownership.

The NX Series is designed for future-proofing: the 2.5GHz Ka bandwidth readiness ensures these antennas can access next-generation MEO HTS constellations and LEO networks as they become available, without hardware replacement. The dual-band convertible design supports seamless switching between Ku and Ka service for redundancy and network optimization.

All four models share common software, interfaces, and below-deck hardware, enabling fleet operators to standardize their spare parts, training, and maintenance procedures across vessel sizes — from smaller workboats (v85NX) to large commercial ships and passenger vessels (v150NX).
