The Intellian Flat Panel Series Land offers a new world of low-profile, high-performance LEO connectivity. This product range includes Enterprise and Compact user terminals, specifically designed for Eutelsat’s OneWeb LEO network. These terminals deliver exceptional performance in sleek, small-footprint, and lightweight form factors, catering to Land Fixed, Land Mobile, and Government markets. They are ideal for customers requiring easy installation, high performance, and high availability connectivity.
The Compact Flat Panels are optimized for Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP), providing high throughputs with low power consumption, making them suitable for SWaP-constrained use cases that still demand high-speed connectivity from the OneWeb LEO network.
The Enterprise Flat Panels are engineered for business-critical communications, utilizing Intellian’s innovative antenna design to deliver maximum throughput allowed on the OneWeb LEO network. They offer the highest link margin, guaranteeing performance even over scan and at the lowest elevation angles.
The Manpack variant, the OW7MP, is an ultra-portable, military-grade user terminal designed for rapid deployment. It is small, lightweight, fits a standard military rucksack, and features one-touch network acquisition for immediate operation in demanding environments.
All terminals in the series are exclusively designed for the OneWeb LEO network, ensuring fast, reliable connectivity globally for both land fixed and land mobility markets, including polar regions.
Key features include an Efficient Array Design based on Intellian’s active electronically scanned arrays (AESA) with a proprietary antenna element design and custom vector-amplifier phased array chipset. This allows precise control of antenna beams by electronically varying phase and amplitude parameters. The proprietary array design and software algorithms ensure efficient, high-performing, and cost-effective flat panels. Superior performance over scan is achieved through an innovative antenna element and unit cell design, unique PCB board stack-up, and fabrication process, resulting in lower scan loss and a wider scan range. This maintains high G/T and EIRP at scan, and allows the terminals to remain in network even with severe platform motion. The system supports lightning-speed handovers, with highly accurate beam pointing and ultra-fast, sub-350 micro-second satellite handovers, maintaining data connection during transitions for an exceptional customer experience. Optimized installation is facilitated by a lightweight design and sleek form factor, allowing single-person installation with standard off-the-shelf mounting solutions. Installation is simplified further by combined power and data over a single coax cable and the use of Intellian’s mobile app for site survey, automated configuration, and monitoring. Smart blockage mitigation is available for dual installations in land fixed markets, where terminals can store known obstruction locations and coordinate using advanced software algorithms to ensure connectivity by avoiding block zones.
