Flat Panel Series Maritime

Intellian’s Flat Panel Series Maritime is a suite of Enterprise and Compact user terminals specifically designed for Eutelsat’s OneWeb LEO network. These terminals deliver exceptional performance in sleek, small-footprint, and lightweight form factors, catering to the Maritime and Government sectors. The series includes two variants: the Compact Flat Panel (OW10HM) for maritime, optimized for Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) with high throughput and low power consumption, and the Enterprise Flat Panel (OW11FM) for maritime, designed for high reliability and performance in business-critical communications, offering maximum throughput and high link margin even at low elevation angles. Both variants are engineered to meet the unique demands of end users, ensuring fast, reliable connectivity globally, including polar regions. Key features include Intellian’s active electronically scanned arrays (AESA) based on a proprietary antenna element design and custom vector-amplifier phased array chipset, enabling precise control of antenna beams. The design ensures superior performance over scan with lower scan loss and wider scan range, maintaining high throughput and connectivity even with severe platform motion. The terminals support lightning-speed handovers (sub 350 micro-seconds) required for LEO networks, maintaining data connection during satellite transitions. Installation is optimized for ease, allowing single-person setup due to lightweight design and optimal form factor. They can be easily installed on pole, mast, and pedestal mounts using Intellian’s Maritime mount adapter kit, with simplified wiring via a single coaxial cable for combined power and data. The Intellian mobile app further aids site survey, automated configuration, and monitoring. Advanced software algorithms provide smart blockage mitigation during dual installations, coordinating between two flat panels operating as a single logical terminal to avoid known obstructions.
