About

Intellian’s mPower terminal series provides access to SES’s second-generation O3b MEO satellite constellation — the world’s highest-throughput MEO satellite network operating in Ka-band at approximately 8,000km altitude. The mP85L, mP130L, and mP240L are parabolic terminals of increasing aperture, enabling high-bandwidth services from 50 Mbps to multiple gigabits per second per site.

The O3b mPower constellation delivers ultra-low latency for a MEO network (approximately 150ms round-trip), fiber-equivalent throughput, and true global beam flexibility, making it the premium choice for enterprise backhaul, cruise ship connectivity, and government applications where bandwidth density and latency matter. Intellian’s terminals are designed to provide the reliable mechanical tracking and RF performance required for MEO satellite tracking with its higher angular velocity than GEO satellites.

The three terminal sizes serve different throughput tiers and installation scenarios: the mP85L suits medium-throughput enterprise and maritime sites, the mP130L addresses high-throughput corporate and government requirements, and the mP240L delivers multi-gigabit capacity for the most demanding applications including cruise liner hubs and large teleport gateway installations.

Development of mP85NX and mP130NX variants extends the NX platform architecture to O3b mPower, providing operators with future-proof terminals compatible with Intellian’s next-generation management ecosystem.
