XEO Series — Ka/Ku Electronically Switchable Multi-Orbit VSAT

The XEO Series is Intellian’s breakthrough electronically switchable dual-band antenna — the first of its kind commercially available globally. Available in four models (X100D, X130D, X130D PM, X150D), the XEO enables seamless single-button switching between Ka-band for high-volume operations and Ku-band for coverage fallback, without any mechanical reconfiguration or service interruption.

The compact center-feed design supports dual polarization with co- and cross-polarization switching, 2.5GHz Ka bandwidth for MEO constellation access, and simultaneous GEO/MEO multi-orbit tracking. The X130D PM variant is MIL-SPEC certified, meeting the most demanding military standards for shock, vibration, and electromagnetic environments. Dual antenna installation supports NGSO make-before-break handovers for seamless LEO/MEO satellite transitions.

The electronic switching architecture eliminates the mechanical switches and waveguide components required by conventional dual-band antennas, improving reliability, reducing maintenance, and enabling faster band transitions. This makes the XEO ideal for operators who need guaranteed connectivity across heterogeneous satellite networks — switching from GEO to MEO as coverage dictates, or using Ka for high-throughput when available and Ku as a resilient fallback.
