About

The IOS LunarStation is a commercial lunar lander designed to provide affordable access to the lunar surface for scientific, commercial, and governmental customers. It accommodates up to four shared payloads or a single dedicated payload, with a maximum capacity of 20.0 kg (44.1 lbs). Soft landing is achieved through solid rocket motor deceleration and airbag cushioning.

The LunarStation carries onboard solar power and communications systems, with payload customer ports providing shared power and communication capability. It is delivered by a modified NEPTUNE two-stage rocket, with Stage 2 performing mid-course corrections and the final landing sequence targeting the lunar northern hemisphere.

A full dedicated 44.1-lb payload mission is priced at $6,000,000. Shared payload pricing is calculated proportionally based on the number of co-manifested payloads per mission.
