CubeSat 3.0 Personal Satellite Kit
Lowest-cost professional-quality CubeSat kit (1U-6U), PCB chassis, assembled in under 15 minutes, available with launch to 310-km polar orbit.
Description
The IOS CubeSat 3.0 Kit is the lowest-cost professional-quality CubeSat kit commercially available. It uses an all-circuit-board chassis design that eliminates the need for drilling, tapping, or soldering. The PCB chassis is lighter than traditional aluminum frames, increasing available payload mass capacity.
Configurations span 1U through 6U, with 1U, 2U, and 3U stacks available via series connection. The 1U CubeSat has a mass of 1.33 kg. Assembly requires only a screwdriver and takes under 15 minutes. Standard boards for power, communications, and onboard computer are included; customers integrate their own experiments into the remaining payload volume.
CubeSat 3.0 kits are offered with or without dedicated launch service to a 310-km polar orbit aboard IOS NEPTUNE rockets. The kit serves universities, research institutions, schools, corporations, and individuals. Over 180 pre-paid satellite customers are on the IOS manifest.
