About
The Intersatellite Optical Communication Terminal 2 facilitates communication between spacecraft in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) with remote sensing satellites and other spacecraft located at different altitudes. It also enables communication with Earth-based ground stations. This terminal offers a communication range of at least 4500 km and supports data transfer rates from 10 to 100 Gbit/s. It has a weight of 18 kg and an average power consumption of 65 W per revolution. The viewing angle covers 360 degrees in azimuth and 180 degrees in elevation, with a target tracking speed of 5 degrees per second. The terminal features a clear aperture of 96 and operates with a power supply voltage between 24-36 V. It also includes the possibility of integrating into a quantum cryptography channel via a transmitter. The product has a guaranteed service life of 7 years and an estimated production/delivery time of 12 months. While it does not currently have flight qualification, it can be adapted to customer requirements and is suitable for integration with platforms weighing 400 kg or more.
