About

The Kerosene Cooling System is intended for cooling down kerosene in launch vehicle propellant supply units. It uses liquid nitrogen at -196 °C as coolant to reduce kerosene temperature to a minimum of -3 °C, with 85 t storage capacity. The system consists of tanks, pumping equipment, pipelines, valves, and control means. Development started 2002; guaranteed service life 2 years; production/delivery time 48 months new, 12 months refurbished. Not flight qualified. Not customizable.
