About
As the first communication station in Korea since 1970, Kumsan Satellite Service Center has significantly contributed to the development of Korea’s international telecommunication. The center offers the best satellite services around the clock, leveraging extensive experience gained over fifty years since its establishment. It holds a geographical advantage, being located between the Pacific and Indian Oceans, enabling it to provide end-to-end total satellite solutions globally. This is achieved through the use of large antennas covering 57°E to 180°E and its comprehensive global network. The center has a rich history, including its establishment in June 1970, the initiation of Inmarsat service in March 1991, and achieving the No.1 teleport in Asia in 2018, followed by WTA Full Certification_Tier-4 level in November 2023.
