The Long March 3B is a three-stage launch vehicle with four strap-on liquid rocket boosters, designed primarily for geostationary orbit missions. The enhanced CZ-3B/E variant delivers 5,500 kg to GTO and 11,500 kg to LEO. First flown in 1996, CZ-3B has become Chinas primary workhorse for launching commercial communications and navigation satellites.
