The Long March 4B is a three-stage medium-lift launch vehicle optimized for polar and sun-synchronous orbits. Using N2O4/UDMH propellants across all three stages, it delivers 2,800 kg to SSO and 4,200 kg to LEO. First flown in 1999, CZ-4B is primarily used to deploy Earth observation and meteorological satellites.
