About

The Low Emission Electric Valve is a pneumatic automation equipment unit engineered for opening and closing of both high and low pressure gas paths in spacecraft propulsion systems. It operates at up to 250 kgf/cm² and uses a two-voltage scheme: 25–34 V to open and 4.5 ± 0.4 V to hold, consuming only 0.25 W during hold. At only 40 g, it is the lightest valve in the Glavkosmos pneumatic automation range. Released in 2008 with a 19-year guaranteed service life and 15.5-year active lifetime.
