About
The LV Thermal Conditioning System (low pressure) is intended for thermal conditioning air preparation (cleaning, drying, heating) and delivery with specified parameters (flow-rate, temperature) into LV compartments at all stages of LV prelaunch preparation and launch, from LV installation on the launch pad. It is a stationary system based on a vapor compression refrigerating machine of controlled cooling effect with intermediate heat medium. Part of the ground support equipment of the Soyuz Launch Complex at the Guiana Space Centre (GSC) in French Guiana. Development started 2005; delivery time 18 months new / 6 months refurbished. Not flight qualified. Not customizable.
