Green Silicon is Maana Electric’s patent-pending electrochemical process for producing metallurgical-grade silicon directly from low-grade feedstock materials including sand and mining tailings. The process achieves up to 5 times lower emissions than conventional silicon production methods, supporting sustainable solar cell manufacturing supply chains. The technology was developed with applications spanning both terrestrial silicon production and in-situ resource utilization for lunar and planetary regolith processing.
