About

TerraBox is Maana Electric’s deployable, containerized mini-factory that automates local solar photovoltaic panel assembly on-site, anywhere in the world. The system produces one solar panel every 6 minutes with an annual production capacity of 35 MW, and becomes fully functional within 5 days of deployment. Operation requires only one day of operator training, and the resulting panels cost approximately one-fifth of conventionally manufactured panels, contributing to a 30% reduction in levelized cost of electricity (LCOE). TerraBox was originally developed for lunar and planetary in-situ resource utilization (ISRU) applications, with terrestrial deployment as a parallel commercial use case.
