About
Micro Aerospace Solutions (MAS) offers a series of MEMS-based inertial measurement units (IMUs) specifically developed for small satellite attitude detection systems. These IMUs can be integrated with other sensors like sun sensors and horizon sensors, as well as MAS’s thruster systems, to form a complete small satellite attitude detection and control system (ADCS). The product line includes three models: MASIMU01, MASIMU02, and MASIMU03. The MASIMU01 is a low-cost, small unit with flight heritage on the University of Texas’ FASTRAC microsatellite for the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL). The MASIMU02 offers improved drift rates with a slightly larger footprint. The MASIMU03 features an innovative data fusion approach for MEMS inertial sensors, providing performance competitive with much larger conventional IMUs. MAS also offers custom design work for hardware, software, and firmware, and provides specific gyro-only and accelerometer-only boards for various applications.
