Harmonic Drive’s Micro Encoders are super compact incremental encoders designed for precision motion control applications. These high-resolution encoders are available in two remarkably compact sizes: the micro model and the ultra-micro model. The ultra-micro model, MES-6, has dimensions of ø7.5 x 10.5mm and offers an incremental encoder with a 360 line count, providing A, B, Z output phases and a square wave open collector output. The micro model, available as MES-9 (single shaft) and MEH-9 (hollow shaft), has dimensions of ø13 x 20mm and features an incremental encoder with a 1000 line count, also providing A, B, Z output phases and a square wave open collector output. A hollow shaft option is available for the micro model. These encoders are ideal for applications requiring precise feedback in a minimal footprint.
