About
The MaalonDrive is Micromotion’s flagship rotary micro-actuator product, leveraging Harmonic Drive strain-wave gearing technology to achieve zero backlash and extremely high positioning repeatability in the arc-second range. Available in 6, 8, and 10 mm sizes with hollow-shaft variants for routing air lines, laser fibers, or vacuum supply through the drive axis, plus HighAcc variants optimized for maximum angular precision. The product line is sterilizable, corrosion resistant, and rated for ultra-high vacuum (UHV) and extreme-temperature operation, making it directly applicable to space pointing mechanisms, antenna drives, and optical payload gimbals.
