Rotary Actuators
Moog's rotary actuators utilize brush and brushless type DC motors with neodymium and rare earth magnets, designed with separate or imbedded analog or digital amplifiers, spur gearing and potentiometers as feedback devices.

About
Moog has been developing specialized high technology and utility electromechanical actuators for over 35 years, offering in-house design, manufacturing expertise, engineering support, and qualification for these products. Products range from 25 to 2,500 in-lb for rotary configurations and can include integral servo control electronics. Moog offers a variety of communication interfaces including analog (+/- 10 VDC for example), RS232 / 422 / 485, R/C PWM, and CAN Bus, with designs for redundancy if required. Typical applications include Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Remotely Piloted Vehicles (RPVs), target drones, utility aircraft applications, and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). Moog is also a FAA certified repair station, offering hardware in support of repairs, upgrades, or overhauls.
