About
The 2m panchromatic (PAN) & 8m multispectral (MS) camera was launched into orbit on the MN30-1 satellite platform on April 27, 2021. It provides remote sensing imagery for applications such as crop disaster monitoring, forest fire prevention, forestry resource surveys, environmental monitoring, geological and mineral exploration, and flash flood monitoring. The camera weighs approximately 2.67 kg and offers a swath width greater than 15.8 km.
